I am concerned about this laser treatment I had heard as a teenager?

ummm ... when I was 16 or younger, my parents I took these Chinese acupuncturists, who could not speak English very well, but were qualified, the doctor puts a low level (think infrared?) Laser in my ear to supposedly treat tinnitus and hearing loss. I panicked, but I do not deny that at this point, I really did not know better - but I'm concerned, could have had bad effects of radiation / on me? could be really dangerous? actually place the laser directly into my ear .. I go to a doctor for an examination of the head or am I just paranoid? : I'm 20 now - if I had no negative effect, the effect would know by now? (I I'm never going to a doctor who does not speak English again, and it is unlikely that the acupuncturist or treat me if a couple of times was also a kind of desperation for relief

I am convinced that any damage that the laser can be made that we showed up by this many years later. Honestly, it may have been only a joke. infrared lasers are like laser spots are quite harmless skin. You can be just take your money while deceiving to think that was helping anything.
